ClearOne Appoints Industry Veteran ADI Regev as Vice President of its Conferencing Business

New Executive Spearheads Go-To-Market Planning for ClearOne's Software-Based Video Conferencing Solutions
 
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (January 17, 2013) — ClearOne (NASDAQ: CLRO) today announced it has appointed video conferencing veteran Adi Regev as Vice President of its video conferencing business.
 
Reporting directly to Zee Hakimoglu, Chairman and CEO of ClearOne, Regev will be responsible for the strategic positioning, business development and growth of the company’s COLLABORATE™ portfolio of software-based video conferencing products, which includes desktop video applications, room systems, and infrastructure and management solutions. 
 
“Adi brings many years of broad video conferencing business experience to our company, including a wide network of established international relationships and collaborations with major corporate end users, OEMs and government organizations,” said Hakimoglu. “Additionally, with his extensive background in real-time visual communication technologies, I am confident he will further enhance ClearOne’s global entry into the emerging software-based video conferencing market, leveraging the opportunities being afforded by the growing adoption of this medium in today’s business landscape.”
 
Prior to joining ClearOne, Regev served five years as Vice President, Products, for Vidyo, Inc., a provider of products that enable video conferences on tablets, martphones and other devices, where he was responsible for software and hardware product strategy, planning and execution. He previously held a 12-year career at Radvision, which provides video conferencing and related technologies, where he led sales efforts and developed product and competitive strategies for key market segments. He received a B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from Technion-Machon Technologi Le' Israel.
