In early October, 70 radiologists from Poland, Slovakia and Hungary travelled to Warsaw for the third edition of Digital Mammography Workshops – an initiative run by FUJIFILM. Barco was happy to support the workshops by providing twelve diagnostic display systems. In addition, we were invited to demonstrate the benefits of our Coronis Uniti® diagnostic display solution to the participants.
Improve efficiency in reading rooms
Just as in previous years, the workshop agenda was comprised of a mix of product presentations, technical lectures, training sessions and case studies on digital mammography. In addition, digital mammography experts shared their initial experiences with breast tomosynthesis in Poland, which they illustrated using case studies.
On both seminar days, we had the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of our Coronis Uniti display solution. All attending radiologists were enthusiastic and eager to learn about our diagnostic display system for PACS and breast imaging. Faced with their increasing workload, the radiologists believe that the Intuitive Workflow Tools integrated into our Coronis Uniti – such as the new touchpad for faster control, and SpotView and SpotView Mag to boost the luminance in a region of interest while dimming the surrounding image area - could greatly help reduce stress and improve efficiency in their reading rooms.
