On 14 June 2016, blockbuster ‘Warcraft’ was shown with Auro 11.1 immersive sound quality in one of the most impressive home cinemas of Johannesburg (South Africa). The owner – who wishes to remain anonymous – not only installed Auro 11.1 by Barco in his personal movie theatre, but also relies on Auro Technologies in his hi-tech recording studio.

 

Auro 11.1 exclusivity in Johannesburg
Passionate about good sound and cinematic spectacle, one particular Barco client installed our Auro 11.1 sound system in his very own private cinema in Johannesburg. As the result was worth sharing, he invited a few lucky ones to an exclusive showcase of his installation. On 14 June 2016, they not only experienced the Auro 11.1 natural, immersive sound. They also saw ‘Warcraft’ through the stunning visuals of Barco’s DP2K-10S digital cinema projector.

 

The result was a mind-blowing movie experience. Three layers of sound to simulate the most natural 3D acoustics, feeling the action on screen, and experiencing sound in the most realistic way possible … Plus, attendees got the chance to admire the owner’s recording studio as well, featuring the Auro-3D Creative Tool Suite, a set of mixing plugins by Auro.
