CHALLENGE
AFRICOM ISKM identified the need for a state-of-the-art, building-wide audiovisual system capable of supporting multiple enclaves and satisfying the complex operational systems across numerous conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and the operations floor of the AFRICOM ISKM Building.

SOLUTION
M.C. Dean implemented AMX G4 graphic technology, running on Modero touch panels, to provide a highly intuitive user interface. NetLinx programming architecture provided a platform capable of controlling a wide range of end-point devices, including video processors, matrix switches, and video teleconferencing systems.

IMPACT
The solution allowed for ease of mobility between AFRICOM sites, as the AFRICOM ISKM Building mirrored AFRICOM headquarters locations. The AMX system also enabled four different space types within the facility – conference spaces, administration spaces, executive office spaces, and command and control spaces.
