The IP substations are designed to the highest specifications and for the harshest environments. The IP stations and kit features a high audio bandwidth like all Stentofon stations. For IP stations this is accomplished through the use of a wide band audio codec. The dual IP port can be used to connect an IP CCTV camera or any other IP unit to the station or kit. The IP port also gives the possibility to daisy chain IP stations. The station has two logical outputs. These outputs can be used to open a door through a connected relay. The operation of the outputs is programmable and controlled by the AlphaCom exchange. The station board supports all relevant IP protocols, including support for VLAN and ToS. The IP substation card has an integrated managed data switch providing advanced networking and security features.
